Our Story
Canoe Wild was set up in 2013 as a small business along the River Stour with just six canoes, a trailer and a passion for paddle sports. From there word quickly spread that you could enjoy a calming canoe trip along the river Stour at Fordwich and we soon became the must do summer activity. We then expanded into kayaking and paddle boarding as well as running raft building activities and other guided trips.
We soon outgrew our little base at the George and Dragon Pub and found our home on the other side of the river where we are now. We also built a site at Grove ferry which offered more opportunities for activities as well as employment for local people! We have won numerous Trip Adviser Awards over the years and our customer reviews reflect the enjoyment our customers have year after year.
Looking ahead Canoe Wild has a bright future, we have recently brought back our popular sea kayaking trips with a view to expand on to the sea and we have many more surprises up our sleeves too!
