Outdoor First Aid LEVEL 3: 2-DAY TRAINING COURSE:

 

This comprehensive two-day qualification will provide learners with the skills and knowledge to respond to a range of emergency outdoor situations in a prompt, safe and effective way. It will enable learners to undertake the role of the First Aider when emergency medical assistance could be more than 30 minutes away.

Designed for all people working in an environment where individuals are likely to find themselves at risk. A range of subjects are covered including:

• First Aid equipment • Assessment of the situation • Prioritizing treatment • Moving a casualty • Fractures and spinal injuries • Control of bleeding • Effects of heat and cold Meets the requirements of the Institute for Outdoor Learning Band 3 training. Meets the first aid training requirements of the Duke of Edinburgh bronze, silver, and gold expedition awards.

THIS COURSE IS SUPPORTED BY FIRST AID AWARDS, A REGULATED OFQUAL AND SQA ACCREDITATION AWARDING ORGANISATION

The price for the Level 3: 2-Day Course is £132pp

The Outdoor First Aid Courses require a minimum of 6 participants to run. If the number of participants is not met, we will offer a place on the next available course. Ages 16+

Emergency Outdoor First Aid Level 3: 1-DAY TRAINING COURSE

Emergency Outdoor First Aid Designed for all people working in an environment where individuals are likely to find themselves at risk. 

A range of outdoor first aid related subjects are covered including:

• First aid equipment • Summon assistance • Casualty monitoring • Resuscitation • Disorders of respiration • Control of bleeding The qualification meets the requirements of the Institute for Outdoor Learning band 2 training. This one-day emergency outdoor first aid qualification will provide learners with the skills and knowledge to respond to a range of emergency outdoor situations in a prompt, safe and effective way, particularly where professional medical help is not immediately available.

The price for the Level 3: 1-Day Course is £77pp

The Outdoor First Aid Courses require a minimum of 4 participants to run. If the number of participants is not met, we will offer a place on the next available course. Ages 14+
